Australian Ecosystems Foundation Inc.

The Australian Ecosystems Foundation Inc. is a not-for-profit group of like-minded individuals who want to save endangered Australian native species. The group consists of specialists, academics, land holders and Aboriginal representatives. We feel that we have gathered a wide range of expertise to be able to achieve our mission to conserve, preserve and protect Australian native ecosystems and their biodiversity through the establishment and ongoing management of environmentally and financially sustainable sanctuaries. We have a number of prominent scientists on our committee including Dr Johannes Bauer MSc (Forestry), PhD in Zoology, PG Diploma in Wildlife Manager--Head of School of Environmental Studies at Charles Sturt University and Dr Mark Eldridge, PhD, BSc (hons, 1st Class) Queen Elizabeth II Felloe, Macquarie University. As well as further expertise from advisors and mentors such as:

We are in the final stages of completing the first endangered species breeding facilities at a site in Lithgow with plans to build intermediate release pens and eventually enclose the 200 acres with a feral-proof fence and then will remove feral predators.
